Les Miserables (The Play) – 28 to Saturday 31 October 2015
St John’s Players present:
Les Miserables (The Play)
adapted by Tim Kelly from the novel by Victor Hugo
Directed by Andrew Clark and produced by Carole Ransom, this exciting production of Les Miserables (The Play) is an ambitious and spectacular show. It tells the tale of Jean Valjean, imprisoned for 19 years for stealing a loaf of bread for his family, and his journey throughout many years to become a well-respected citizen.
With a huge cast of almost 40 (the largest production that St John’s Players has ever tackled), spectacular lighting, sound and stage effects (notably in the breathtaking ‘barricade’ scene), plenty of atmospheric music and a few appropriate original songs, this is a production not to be missed. Please note that this is not a version of the West End musical which is not available for amateur performances, except youth groups. However, you are sure to leave the theatre feeling inspired and moved.
Wednesday 28 to Saturday 31 October at 7.30pm in the Townley Hall, Fulbourn Centre, Home End
