This series of ten stand-alone talks continues on the next three Thursdays – 12 November, 19 November, 26 November –
11.00am to 1.00pm, at the Fulbourn Centre, Home End.
12 Nov – includes Sir Joshua ReynoldsSarah Siddons as the Tragic Muse 1784
19 Nov – ‘Reclaiming the Englishness in English Art’, includes John Constable’s The Hay Wain 1821
26 Nov -‘ God in the Landscape,’ includes JMW Turner’s Snowstorm: Hannibal Crossing the Alps 1812
This series of talks by an art historian has covered a wide range of artists, giving an insight into the morality, science, satire and social history of the time.
£10 per talk. Turn up on the day.
