Jeff Hooper and his Quartet – Friday 7 October 2016
Jeff Hooper and his Quartet
International vocalist Jeff Hooper is one of the most talented and popular singers on the music scene, having won ITV’s ‘New Faces’ competition at the age of 14. Together with his quartet (which includes most of Anton Du Beke’s rhythm section) – Clive Dunstall on keyboards, Colin Green on guitar, Dave Tandy on drums and Dave Olney on bass – this magnificent singer puts on a great show, highly professional and entertaining. Jeff breathes new life into the music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and Matt Monro, but also features the songs of more contemporary singers such as Michael Buble in his repetoire. Jeff’s work is prolific and includes overseas concert tours, radio shows, cruises, and performances across Britain at some of the most prestigious concert and cabaret venues. He regularly performs with the BBC Big Band, as well as his own big band, Swing Easy. He has worked with Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Kathryn Jenkins, and was with Cliff Richard at Gloria Hunniford’s wedding. He has also featured in big marketing drives for Skoda, Jeep and VW.
Another great evening of superb entertainment.
