Friday 24 November in the Townley Hall, Fulbourn Centre, 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start.
This 2016 fascinating documentary about the extraordinary life of Gertrude Bell (1868-1926), traveller, archaeologist, linguist, spy, the greatest woman mountaineer of her age, and the most powerful woman in the British Empire in her day. She drew the boundaries that became Iraq and has been called the “female Lawrence of Arabia”.

Tickets on the door: £5 / U16 £3. Drinks are available from the Fulbourn Institute bar.
